Hey! The only posts I haven’t written yet are the free ones
and I’ve got an idea, I don’t know if it’s okay or no but I’ll do it anyway and
I’ll mix them both and only write one longer free post. I’m sure the topic I
chose just couldn’t be better and it’s “food”, for me, a conversation about
food could never end and it’s because it makes me really happy. And now that I
think about it, this was also the topic for our oral exam so I can continue
that conversation.
The first thing that comes to my mind is what would be my
favorite meal and what I like to cook. And of course I don't have only one
favorite meal but many. And I'm not a person who cooks everyday but when I have
to I like to try and I'm not afraid of mixing too many flavors or that the meal
finally looks gross, for me the matter is how it tastes.
The topic is also according to the second “free post”
because is something that I feel passionate about and I know that many people
from different ages and every kind of interests feel the same.
Now I'll tell you what kind of food I like. I actually prefer the salty and homemade food, even though I like them, I never crave a cake or a chocolate but rice, pizza or tacos, for me are something else.
I also love vegetables, all kind of salads, sauteed vegetables or in every way you can eat them and meat, specially beef, I feel lucky to live in a country where meat will only mean beef. I can also eat pork and chicken but I thnik ther's no comparison.
Over time I rezlized that the food I mostly love are the most salty, like serrano ham, bacon and olives. These three delicious things also cheese, pepperoni, palm hearts and mushrooms will make every meal better.
And besides to like roasts and salads, I like to eat at home when you have not time to cook and think about something more elaborated, eggs, also in all its forms, as a lunch with rice or noodles and tomatoes salad or at any other time of the day.
I think to have a balanced diet it's very important for our health and not so hard as we use to think. In my house we have always eaten fairly well, all kind of vegetables, fish and other proteins but we consume too many carbs, we love bread too much and this is something I'd like to change but I don't see myself eating less for the moment.
My friends and everyone tell me that I eat a lot, as a boy and I actually feel proud about it. It's great to eat everything you want and not become too fat but I know it's due to metabolism besides diet.
I'd be so happy having a pizza right now.
