Amsterdam Centraal


A building I like and had the chance to see is the Amsterdam Railway Station (or Amsterdam Centraal, in Dutch). 

It is a big and grand old building, the first thing you see when you come by train, apart form the port and the lot of ships, and you say, "wow, I am finally in Amsterdam!". 


Amsterdam is a beautiful city  with a lot of historical architecture, there are so many places to visit, historical museums, fabrics, the national library, you can also cross the city on foot or in a bike tour. 

The railway was designed by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers, who also designed the Rijksmuseum in the same city, and first opened in 1889. It features a Gothic/Renaissance Revival station building.

Since 1997, the station building, underground passages, metro station and the surrounding area have been undergoing major reconstruction and renovation works to accommodate the North-South Line metro route, which is due to open in 2017.

    Great building. I had to sleep outside this station on my first visit to Amsterdam because I missed my connection. A police officer with a BIG machine gun work me at 4am telling me I couldn't sleep there. I didn't argue!!!

ANOTHER REASON FOR WICH I REALLY WANT TO TRAVEL WITH MY MOTHER IS THAT SHE’S THE ONE WHO HAS LESS TRAVELED IN MY FAMILY, MY FATHER HAS AT LEAST TRAVELED MORE BECAUSE HIS JOB AND I’M NOT COUNTING MY BROTHER BECAUSE HE’S TOO YOUNG AND I THINK HE’S NEXT TO GO TO ON EXCHANGE.                           I REALLY WANT TO TRAVEL WITH MY FAMILY BECAUSE I’D LIKE TO THANK THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THE OPORTUNITY AND THE GIFT THEY GAVE ME TO KNOW PLACES THEY HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT. An Ambition

To travel and travel... An ambition I have now would be to travel to Europe (as soon as it is possible). I just want to go back since I left Europe last year. I would like to visit more places and learn much more. I think the most of the people always want to travel aroud the world and I would like to be one of them who achive this ambition. There are so many amazing expieriences out of our normal lifes and our childhood towns. I want to spend a long time there (maybe a year). And I don't have a clear destination yet, what is more, I have a lot of options where I would like to live.  I would go back to Germany, because I know the language and some people there, therefore it could be easier or I would go to England to learn english, that is something really useful for us all. I don't know... all this countries have something special and some special languages that we can learn.  I prefer not to go alone. I want to do this trip with my boyfriend if we are still t...
