Buenos Aires

Resultado de imagen para buenos airesHi! Today I'll write about what I think will be my next trip. The city I'd like to visit soon is Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've wanted to visit Buenos Aires a long time ago, I think since my parents went and didn't brought me and my brother.
I've heard is a very beautiful city with a lot of history and things to see if we are talking about architecture. And it's so close compared to the USA or Europe that results weird to have been in other places much more away from us when we have all these beautiful cities and nature that doesn't exist anywhere else. I say this because I'm very interested on traveling around South and Central America before knowing other continents.
What attracts me to the city for the moment is a friend who lives there and studies in the UBA, Agostina. I want to visit her and spend with her a nice "holidays", because of course, we only can visit each other in summer and she with another friend, also from Argentina came this February, so is my turn.

We where planning to spend the New Year together and partying there as an Argentinian knows, the rest of the time I'd like to know the city , as I said, the architecture, all the different neighborhoods, the food and the music.

I wouldn't care if I go alone because there I would be with my friend and I also think is great to walk and know a place as you want, even more when the language is not an impediment.

Amsterdam Centraal

Amsterdam Centraal A building I like and had the chance to see is the Amsterdam Railway Station (or Amsterdam Centraal, in Dutch).  It is a big and grand old building, the first thing you see when you come by train, apart form the port and the lot of ships, and you say, "wow, I am finally in Amsterdam!".  Amsterdam is a beautiful city  with a lot of historical architecture, there are so many places to visit, historical museums, fabrics, the national library, you can also cross the city on foot or in a bike tour.  The railway was designed by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers, who also designed the  Rijksmuseum in the same city,  and first opened in 1889. It features a  Gothic / Renaissance Revival  station building. The Rijksmuseum Since 1997, the station building, underground passages, metro station and the surrounding area have been undergoing major reconstruction and renovation works to accommodat...

The Future

Today I'll try to imagine how would be me and our wolrd in a couple of years.  To start, I´ll say maybe I'll be living in another country, I don't know where but it would be nice to live in Finnland. I think I'll be working as an architect or as a teacher in some good university... Every time I think about leaving Chile I would prefer to bring my family with me, my parents and brother. But if this, for any reason  is not possible I think I wouldn't do it alone, unlees not for ever. So I imagine myself having my own family, my husband and children. I think they would learn a lot belonging to more than one culture.  Of course I'll have finished my studies and this will be a really important achievement in this part of my life. So I'll have got my first job and I'll be great speaking english or more languages.  All what I've writed are just dreams maybe my life becomes in something totaly different or maybe it surpris...

An Ambition

One of my ambitions would be to own a coffee and a restaurant in the city I was born, Iquique. I really want to achieve that to work with my parents in the same place and sell typical Chilean food from all different regions. What inspires this ambition is that my family has a northern origin. To satisfy it, I’d like to recognize that the north has a variety of unknown meals and we could create a menu that shows this interesting part of the culture. Also in this type of business you meet people from many places, foreigners, people from your own country and friends from the city who visit you and want support your enterprise. I think that with my architecture studies I’d be able to design interesting places that pose a different relation to serve the clients. In Iquique, the presence of the beach and the dunes, as well as the warm weather, sunny days and a fresh wind, allow us to think of places open to the city, to the outside and to the passerby. For the location of my coffee I’ve b...
