My Blog Experience

Hi! Today I’ll write about my blog experience this semester. So, this is going to be my last post for the moment… Results complicated to say if I enjoyed the activity or not because I actually like it and think it’s a good exercise to practice and above all, to think more in english. Sometimes I really have no idea what to write and it takes me too much time to find a “good story or topic”. Anyway, I’d say I’ve enjoyed more than I’ve cried about. The post I liked most, even if I haven’t finished it yet, was the one about a holiday. I enjoyed  writing this post because I had a lot of fun these weeks and I like the idea of leaving written  the important things we did and the places my friends and me visited.   The post I enjoyed least would match with the most difficult post to write to me and with the  reason I don’t like the experience in a hundred percent. And this only happens when I don’t  know what to write… This post was the one about “something ar...

Buenos Aires

Hi! Today I'll write about what I think will be my next trip. The city I'd like to visit soon is Buenos Aires, Argentina. I've wanted to visit Buenos Aires a long time ago, I think since my parents went and didn't brought me and my brother.  I've heard is a very beautiful city with a lot of history and things to see if we are talking about architecture. And it's so close compared to the USA or Europe that results weird to have been in other places much more away from us when we have all these beautiful cities and nature that doesn't exist anywhere else. I say this because I'm very interested on traveling around  South and Central America before knowing other continents. What attracts me to the city for the moment is a friend who lives there and studies in the UBA, Agostina. I want to visit her and spend with her a nice "holidays", because of course, we only can visit each other in summer and she  with another friend, also from Argentina ...

A Special Meal

This is just how it looked. I was invited for the new Rotary president in the club I belonged to in Ratzeburg as a farewell dinner and as a welcome for him and his wife.  We, the two host-families I had, Conny with Thorsten and Silke with Ralf and me, came to their house in a Summer evening in the middle of the asparagus season so that’s what it was about, just a meal of asparagus, ham, potatoes and the sauces, this is a typical German meal or tradition they have when the season comes. I remember that day as a special one because I felt really happy at this time, this step from that experience was ending and I felt satisfied with everything I had done, all the people I met and the places I had visited. So, there I was, sited by the president telling them in a fluent German, any story that came to my mind and drinking champagne, that’s another thing that I love. The meal was memorable to me because I think we spent a beautiful night and I was the “center of the attention” and s...

ITALY

HEY! NOW I’M GOING TO TALK ABOUT A COUNTRY I’D LIKE TO VISIT AND I THINK THIS COUNTRY WOULD BE ITALY EVEN TOUGHT I’D JUST PREFER TO TRAVEL THE WHOLE WORLD. THE REASON I’VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO ITALY IS MY MOM, SHE HAS PART OF HER MATERNAL FAMILY THERE, IN UDINE, IN THE NORTH OF ITALY AND SHE HAS ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT KNOWING HER ROOTS IN THAT COUNTRY AND ALL THOSE BEAUTIFUL PLACES. ANOTHER REASON FOR WICH I REALLY WANT TO TRAVEL WITH MY MOTHER IS THAT SHE’S THE ONE WHO HAS LESS TRAVELED IN MY FAMILY, MY FATHER HAS AT LEAST TRAVELED MORE BECAUSE HIS JOB AND I’M NOT COUNTING MY BROTHER BECAUSE HE’S TOO YOUNG AND I THINK HE’S NEXT TO GO TO ON EXCHANGE.                           I REALLY WANT TO TRAVEL WITH MY FAMILY BECAUSE I’D LIKE TO THANK THEM AS SOON AS POSSIBLE THE OPORTUNITY AND THE GIFT THEY GAVE ME TO KNOW PLACES THEY HAVE ALWAYS DREAMED ABOUT. WHEN WE GET THERE, AT FIRST, I WOULD LIKE TO VISIT OUR ...

Cahuil

I really like to travel. I always do it with my family, we share the same passion. We always visit the south of Chile or the coast, places like Viña del Mar or Valparaiso. Another place we visit a lot is Pichilemu. This town belongs to the O’Higgins region. When I wasn’t even born my mom used to go every summer and stayed there with her mom and dad, her sister and brother. They spent some good times there, in fact, she once told me and my brother that she met the father of my father there because she’d buy at his store without knowing it. Well, so we go almost every year to Pichilemu, and there’s a special place only 20 kilometres from the city in direction to the Coastal Range where you can walk long hours beside the Estero Nilahue. Also, you can take a ride on a boat, buy papayas, salt from the same saltworks and jam from all the tastiness. So, for me and my family this place has a magic meaning. Every time we get there it's cloudy and it only helps me to feel more nostalgic ...
