Photos

 Hello everyone!

I'm back and now I'm on the last level of english in the FAU.

Today I have to write about a family photograph but because I really like photos (more personal photos, I don't I understand like artistic photography...) and I couldn't choose, I picked a few more of special moments or quotidian ones but with beautiful meanings.

In the first one are my brother and me after school just waiting for lunch, wearing our uniforms and making ugly faces. I liked the moments when we were kind to each other, it happened only when we were really bored because at this age we spent the most of the time fighting. The same for the second and third picture, we were bored at breakfast and we started an ugly photo shoot drinking juice... I think these ones are kind of artistic.

The last two are both family pictures with both parents and a single brother but they have a small difference, they belong to two different families. The first one is from 2013 and includes my real family, my dad (Alejandro), my mom (Maritza) and my brother (José Joaquín) , we are sitting in our living room and I remember we took the picture because I had to fill out a document with a family photo and we noticed we had not any. So we took this one and I like it because we look happy and tan.
The other family photo belong to my german family it was taken a year after the picture in Los Andes and there we were making a farewell trip in Stralsund, a really beautiful city next to the biggest island in Germany, Rügen. It includes my host parents (Thorsten and Conny) and my host brother (Yannick), who is one year older than my brother José J.

Amsterdam Centraal

Amsterdam Centraal A building I like and had the chance to see is the Amsterdam Railway Station (or Amsterdam Centraal, in Dutch).  It is a big and grand old building, the first thing you see when you come by train, apart form the port and the lot of ships, and you say, "wow, I am finally in Amsterdam!".  Amsterdam is a beautiful city  with a lot of historical architecture, there are so many places to visit, historical museums, fabrics, the national library, you can also cross the city on foot or in a bike tour.  The railway was designed by Dutch architect Pierre Cuypers, who also designed the  Rijksmuseum in the same city,  and first opened in 1889. It features a  Gothic / Renaissance Revival  station building. The Rijksmuseum Since 1997, the station building, underground passages, metro station and the surrounding area have been undergoing major reconstruction and renovation works to accommodat...

The Future

Today I'll try to imagine how would be me and our wolrd in a couple of years.  To start, I´ll say maybe I'll be living in another country, I don't know where but it would be nice to live in Finnland. I think I'll be working as an architect or as a teacher in some good university... Every time I think about leaving Chile I would prefer to bring my family with me, my parents and brother. But if this, for any reason  is not possible I think I wouldn't do it alone, unlees not for ever. So I imagine myself having my own family, my husband and children. I think they would learn a lot belonging to more than one culture.  Of course I'll have finished my studies and this will be a really important achievement in this part of my life. So I'll have got my first job and I'll be great speaking english or more languages.  All what I've writed are just dreams maybe my life becomes in something totaly different or maybe it surpris...

A Concert

A concert I'd like to write about is the Calle 13 concert I went in 2015.  At this time, Calle 13 was my favorite band, I was in Germany and I knew they were on tour so they had to visit Germany too. I barely knew that they'd give a concert in Hamburg, the nearest city from my town, I asked all my Latino friends and Germans who had been in Latin America  to come with me and they were also planning to go.  It was cool in many ways, I don't usually go to concerts but this was a very special situation, the tickets were cheap and I gave it to me for my birthday. It was cool just the idea of going to a concert in another country with many crazy people (we were about 15).  We went together by train from Lübeck to Hamburg, at the station we bought us some food and drinks, we lost each other, no one knew were the concert was and how to get there, some of the group hadn't cell phones so we couldn't find them. And all this jus...
